Friday Night Freakshow

In a packed and raucous rock club, a local singer belts out her signature tune while a rumor goes around that the famous rock star Boy-O is at the bar and wants to sit in.

In a forbidding mansion, which houses an Asylum for dangerous lunatics, Dr. Werner Ünterland ponders the case of the delusional Frederick Tybus.

In a spaceship 35,000 feet above the Eastern Seaboard, two alien beings from the planet Zlotar-17 ponder the meaning of mortality, enlightenment, and the pharmaceutical business.

And in the Kingdom of the Dead, Hades whistles happily at the wheel of his new Mercedes....the black one, of course....

"Friday Night Freakshow" is my newest and weirdest album. It contains 27 tracks and two and a half hours of music, and was written and recorded over a one year period from September '02 through August '03. Available NOW!

Henry's House

Once upon a time there were 8 boys and girls living in a beautiful peaceful kingdom very far away from here--the sons and daughters of the 8 kings and queens of the country. One of them was a boy named Henry--a thoughtful kid who liked to play Sardines and read comic books, and who had magic powers --but he didn't know that yet.

This is the story of how Henry visited a house in the north country, found out about his magic powers, and used them, along with the help of the other kids and a mysterious witch named Tess, to save his country from the attack of a vengeful demon.

"Henry's House" is not only my first solo album but now a full-fledged rock musical, which had its world debut in the summer of 2002 at Hubbard Hall here in upstate New York. Kevin McGuire and I have been working on revising the show and getting it in front of national and regional theater producers; but you don't have to wait for us to hit Broadway to enjoy the music NOW.

NOTE: it has always been my policy to allow taping at shows. I also believe that these files can and should be tradeable online, absolutely free, provided I am credited and the music is not altered or unlistenable.

For such a policy to work -- it is important to support me, and all artists who have such a policy, by buying our commercially released albums, and by coming to our shows.
