"A Bold New Musical..."

The inaugural production run of Henry's House ran 14 shows, from August 21st to September 1st, 2002, at Hubbard Hall in Cambridge, New York.

The adaptation of the original CD was a long process (and one that is still ongoing). Through the winter of 2002 I met with Kevin McGuire at 9 am 3 days a week in my aunt Janet's barn. There we hashed out a basic script--which was rewritten continuously up to and throughout the run of the show.

Since the Hubbard Hall run Kevin and I have done a number of Henry's House related things, including editing a promotional video, working on a script revision, and meeting with producers and theater directors in the hopes of another production of the show. (See What's Next For Henry?)

Something To Build On

The 2002 production was just a way of getting my feet wet in the theater world. But it was an incredible experience. We had a superb cast and got some terrific reviews.

Please check out the photos and see about getting a video if you are interested.
