My Rock Operas
Henry's House (2001) tells the story of eight kids exiled from their city when their parents are attacked by the demon Volcano Boy. They meet a friendly witch, Teacher Tess, and fight two villains who live at the bottom of a lake, Bubsy Beals and Crafty Foxx, before returning to rescue their beleagured homeland.
Friday Night Freakshow (2003) is the epic saga of Boy-O, the Last Rock Star, who is in reality a delusional mental patient named Freddie, incarcerated at the Underland Home for the Totally Insane. Or is he? As two aliens from the planet Zlotar-17 look on, Freddie/Boy-O travels to the Kingdom of the Dead to rescue his lost girlfriend, stopping along the way to comment on the Iraq War, the pharmaceutical industry, and the constructed nature of reality.
